Mask, or a filter….which will it be? It won’t be me. Just a better version, for the world to see.

Having grown up in New Orleans, I have borne witness to the many tourists who come to our fair town. The year round carnival atmosphere, lends the perfect backdrop for ‘losing oneself’. It therefore comes as no surprise that many of the businesses and little shops dotting the streets of Bourbon, Esplanade, Dumaine, Royal, Carrollton, and beyond, provide all the tools one will require to do just that. And, one of the most quintessential tools amongst these would be the carnival mask. Donning the perfect choice allows one to repress that stressed, tired version of oneself and explore the possibilities of simply BEING. Empowering, freeing, exhilarating. A powerful feeling, unleashed. But, imagine harnessing that feeling…tapping into that resource at will. Never having to leave the comfort of your own domicile.

Nikola Tesla told us long ago, “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.”Everything in the known world registers a frequency and vibration. Animals, plants, trees, water, air, humans….everything emits a frequency and a vibration. Just as with the frequency of color, not all light frequency is visible to the human eye. And, new research seems to support that the unseen frequencies are some of the most influential and powerful of all.

In a recent study, the SPANE (Scale of Positive and Negative Experience) was administered to a group of 25,000 participants, with amazingly accurate results. As would come as very little surprise, the emotion of LOVE registered at a very high frequency. But, the administrators were shocked to learn that there was an emotion registering at an even higher frequency. This emotion was AUTHENTICITY. Authenticity actually registered at a frequency of 40,000 times the frequency of love!

Love is a powerful force. When two people fall in love, they are unmasking the very depths of themselves, revealing themselves (their most authentic selves), reciprocally with one another. This ‘feeling’ created with falling in love, can be witnessed in increased energy, renewed sense of personal purpose, a potential unleashed that allows one to feel there is nothing they cannot accomplish. Witnesses to these couples usually state they have a ‘glow’. Now we can confirm scientifically. Love is a frequency. It emits a vibration, even a color, albeit even if we cannot see it, we feel it.

Imagine the potential of tapping into that frequency for ourselves. A frequency 40,000 times the feeling of love, simply by being ourselves. Unfiltered. Unmasked. So many occupy their minds, ruminating over the thoughts and opinions of others. To the point that such worry can prevent one from experiencing all that the world has to offer them. If we only realized, that most others wandering the world, are equally self-obsessed with their own worries and insecurities. There are, however, those amongst us that are more sensitive to the frequency and vibrations of others. We do see you. I would venture to say that most who have learned to see people authentically, tend to focus on growing the good in others.

Imagine the powerful potential of not just a few, but many, who realize that the gifts/blessings/talents that they possess are unique to them. Specifically endowed by the creator for each individual. Frequency – Vibrational Change Agents! We can only hope to achieve such heights of potential, through discovering the depths of ourselves. Alchemizing each obstacle, each intrusive, ugly thought, into a positive radiant.

Perhaps it is time to re-a quaint yourself with the beautiful, complex, immeasurably blessed individual, that you were created to be. Unless you have had your head buried in sand, it is easy to see that the world is in chaos. Imagine if you could be one of the change agents. Emitting in the frequency of authenticity. I can promise you this: once you begin to live in that frequency, you will never again suffer the opinions of others. And, it will be the most liberating experience you will ever have. True freedom.

Masks and filters are fun. But, under all of that concealment, lies that which is most valuable. The frequency of authenticity.
